How to use your Haakaa breast pump:

• Sterilize your pump by boiling in water for 3-5 minutes.
• Place the flange of the pump over your nipple – make sure your nipple is comfortably centered in the neck of the pump.
• Apply suction – you may need to adjust the position of your pump several times. Once the pump is secure and comfortable, apply suction by squeezing the base of the pump to start milk flow.
• Once the milk starts flowing, just leave the pump alone to do its job!
• When the pump is full, empty into a glass storage bottle and reposition it.
• If milk flow slows or you have expressed the desired amount, simply stick the suction base to a flat surface while you finish feeding or fixing.

Cleaning and maintenance: Clean after each use. We strongly recommend cleaning and sterilizing your Haakaa breast pump with any steam sterilization system or by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Do not use bleaches or sterilizing tablets to clean this product. Do not boil the PP cap. Do not use UV sterilizers to clean this product, as this may impact the life of your pump.
