Phono-duets: Syllables (first syllable of a word) is designed to promote the development of syllable awareness in children aged 4 to 7 years. The game is part of the series Phono-duets which offers three graded games targeting different skills prior to learning to read and write.

Each game includes 2 sets of 26 pieces as well as a game board. After assembling the correct puzzle pieces, the player discovers a creature that he must then search for on the game board in the manner of a seek and find game.
