Kiwizou - Baladino (FR-EN)

Authors: Jonathan Favre-Godal, Corentin Lebrat It's a day out at Dino Park! Owners are out and about with their faithful pet Dinos. A competition quickly organizes itself: which Dino will be the fastest to reach the park gates? Everyone starts on the central alley, but beware of Billy, the park ranger, who keeps watch and cannot stand to see Dinos too far from their owners! In Baladino, players embody owners walking their pet Dinos. A race is organized in Dino Park's central alley, and the first Dino to reach the end of the alley is declared the winner. Each player must manage the progression of 2 pawns: their Dino pawn AND their Master pawn. To advance, players roll the die and choose to move either their Dino pawn or their Master pawn. To win the game, only the Dino pawn counts, and it would be logical to only advance that pawn, BUT that's where Billy, the park ranger, comes in! Billy is strict and cannot stand Dinos being too far from their Master. When a player rolls the whistle on the die, if their Dino is more than 3 spaces ahead of their Master pawn, they must move their Dino back to the same space as their Master.
